Most people contact us because something has changed rather than because they already know exactly which roofing component has failed. It may be split, lifted, poorly dressed or weathered flashing around roof junctions. Our job is to look beyond the symptom, find the likely cause and explain what we believe needs to be done.

We would rather repair the right area than guess
When we inspect a problem we consider step flashing, cover flashing, chimney abutments, valleys and other weatherproof junctions. Roofing defects can be connected, particularly where pitched roofs meet chimneys, walls, valleys or flat sections. That is why we prefer to see the affected area and give a quotation based on the actual condition rather than promise a price from a short description alone.
Once we have assessed the problem, we explain the proposed work in plain language. If a focused repair is appropriate, that is what we will quote for. If there is wider deterioration that changes the sensible approach, we will explain that as well. The aim is for you to understand what you are paying for before work starts.
